Four districts of Haryana received high-tech forensic wagons for investigation into the crime site

Investigation of crimes in Haryana became even faster and smart with the deployment of high-tech forensic investigations in Gurugram, Faridabad, Panchkula and Sonipat. The mobile forensic laboratory, provided by National Forensic Science University (NFSU), Gandhinagar by the Ministry of Home Affairs, is equipped with advanced equipment to analyze on the spot and prepare a preliminary report. After inspecting one of such a vehicle, Satendra Kumar Gupta, commissioner of the Faridabad, said: “The purpose of the new law is to give quickly justice, which is only possible when the report of the forensic science laboratory is soon found. The orders have kits to detect drugs, explosives, fingerprints, footprints, DNAs and contain a fridge, generator and video camera to preserve and record significant evidence. A senior police officer said: “This is the mobile version of that of forensic laboratory. Samples of blood or other evidence will be collected on the spot and they will be properly preserved. Earlier the samples are damaged due to the delay. Now, with cool and sealed storage, such problems have been solved.” Share this story -tags
