When he arrived at the ER, Alif was immediately handled by a doctor and underwent a series of examinations, including blood tests. Initially, the doctor suspected that Alif had an appendix due to pain in the abdomen and vomiting was quite serious. But after the doctor made further observations and examinations, the doctor finally made sure that Alif had acute heartburn. After a thorough examination, the doctor said Alif was not exposed to appendicitis, but ulcer. “Maybe because my diet is irregular, sometimes eating, and also liking to drink coffee, the doctor also teaches that what I do can indeed cause stomach pain or ulcers,” Alif said. He was subsequently hospitalized for three days at the hospital for repair for repair. During the treatment period, Alif gets an IV, gastric medicine and special e -ter therapy to reduce the production of stomach acid and calm the digestive system. All services are carried by the JKN program. According to Alif, he did not pay a cent. “Everything is carried by BPJS Health, ranging from rooms, laboratory tests, to medicine. My parents are helped a lot, because I can focus on recovering without thinking about the costs,” Alif said. Alif also appreciated the quality of the services he received at Anutapura Hospital. According to him, medical staff work quickly and professionally, as well as to explain his health in detail, it makes him feel calm and comfortable to undergo treatment. There is no discrimination of services felt, despite the use of the JKN program. Alif said the services of nurses and doctors in the hospital were very good. “They are friendly and responding. I also feel comfortable because all procedures are well explained to ordinary people like me,” Alif added. After fully recovering, Alif becomes more concerned about a healthy lifestyle. He also claimed that he was increasingly aware of the importance of the JKN program that offered health protection not only to him, but also for all his families. “Many of my friends have not joined JKN, even if the benefits are great. I say regularly, don’t wait for the pain for the new list,” Alif said. “We need to have protection early, because we don’t know when the sick can come,” he concluded.
