Patna SherPur-poethwara Six Lane Bridge Construction will start soon, Patna Ring Road will be linked
The construction of another bridge on the Ganges will soon begin to directly connect Bihar News Desk Patna and Saran Divisions. Seven major businesses have shown interest in building the Chhal Lane Bridge on the Ganges from Sherpur to Dieghwara in Danapur. December 27 was the last date to fill the tender. Which company will get the responsibility to build this bridge, it will be determined soon. The bridge is 14,520 km long, including the access road. Its construction will cost Rs 4994.79 crore. The target is to complete the construction within three and a half years. The company that constructs this bridge and road will also maintain it for the next ten years. This road starts from NH-30 at Sherpur Southern Ends and ends at NH-19 in Dighwara. This is the fifth bridge over the Ganges River in Patna City. The state government will bear the expenses incurred by land acquisition. According to the Road Construction division, the work of land acquisition for the bridge and access road in the final phases. 316.71 Crore was approved to acquire 86.12 hectares of land. Sherpur-poethwara Six Lane Bridge will also be part of Patna Ring Road. The construction of this bridge will reduce the distance from Patna and many districts in the area.
