IPL 2025 Can BCCI do it in this country now? Cricket Board gives a unique offer to India

Cricket News Desk. The board of control for cricket in India has postponed the IPL 2025 season in the middle. The BCCI made this decision on Friday, May 9, after the situation between India and Pakistan continues to deteriorate. Since then, there has been a debate on whether the tournament will start again or not. Even if it starts, when and where will it be kept? There is a continuous discussion on this and at this time the English Cricket Board contacted the BCCI about organizing the remaining part of the tournament in his country. IPL 2025 was postponed a constant stalemate between India and Pakistan along the control line and the international border from the night of May 6-7 for a week. Keeping that in mind, the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi capitals in Dharamshala was canceled in the middle. A day later, on Friday, May 9, the BCCI decided to cancel the tournament immediately. BCCI vice president Rajiv Shukla said the tournament was postponed only one week. The proposal for the presentation of 16 games made it clear that any further decision regarding the tournament will be made based on the guidelines of the central government. At such a time, the English Cricket Board proposed to keep the remaining matches of the tournament in their country before the BCCI. According to the English magazine ‘The Cricketer’, the English board suggested to the BCCI that the remaining 16 games of IPL 2025 could be held in their country. The proposal was given to the BCCI earlier, but the Indian council has not yet responded. Not just ECB, former English captain Michael Vaughan also posted a similar position on Friday and suggested that the remaining part of the IPL in England be completed. However, this is not the first time the English board has proposed such a proposal to the BCCI. Even at the beginning of 2021, when the IPL season had to be stopped due to the Corona virus, the ECB suggested to the BCCI that it was ready to keep the remaining matches in his country.
