India's Nobel laureate
Trending India’s Nobel laureate Nobel Prize is the world’s most sought after honor. Many people from India have also been awarded this award. Rabindranath Tagore was the first Nobel laureate in India, to receive this honor in 1913 for his book Gitanjali. Sir CV Raman received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930, discovering the Raman effect associated with the spread of light. Each Govind Khurana won the Nobel Prize in 1968.
