A case was registered against Sadar Kotwali on Tehsildar Krishna Kumar Mishra’s Tahrir on Saturday against Naib Nazir. The Kotwali police are questioning him in custody. Some outsiders are also questioned on the second day. Tablets are provided for distribution among students in colleges and educational institutions. Tablets were held in the strong room built in Sadar Tehsil. There was a panic in the stock of 38 to 40 lakh tablets in Milan on Friday. On the instructions of joint magistrate Shruti Sharma, Naib Tehsildar Shivendra Kaundilya investigated the case. His investigation revealed that the negligence of Naib Nazir was posted as custodian. Naib Nazir told him in his statement that someone had broken the strong room on the night of May 19. On the morning of May 20, when he saw a new lock, he broke it and put another lock. Naib Nazir did not notify the high officials. Without the information, the tablets were also held in other rooms other than the strong room without knowing it. Naib Nazir is accused of obscuring 330 tablets to change the lock by cheating without informing any competent officer. Keeper Naib Nazir’s negligence came to light.
