Illegal immigration rack: COP has transferred for negligence. The Mumbai police crime branch recently arrested several members of a trafficking gang who were allegedly responsible for sending at least 80 individuals who were illegally sent to countries such as the US, Canada, Turkey, the Netherlands and Poland using manufactured passports and visas. During their investigation, police learned that SPI Dhananjay Sonawane of the Sahar police station, under whose jurisdiction the Mumbai Airport Falls, did not investigate an earlier trade in trade against one of the accused, and therefore the decision to transfer him, said, officials said. “We transferred Dhananjay Sonawane, senior police inspector to the Sahar police station, to the local arms unit,” a senior police officer said. “It was found that there was negligence from the senior police inspector, which is why he was transferred after a report from the crime branch was received, as the rocket worked for a while at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai.” Despite multiple attempts, senior police inspector Sonawanes could not be reached for a comment. Police registered a case on February 28 after he was informed that a trafficking gang had illegally sent at least 80 individuals to countries such as USA, Canada, Turkey, the Netherlands and Poland using manufactured passports and visas. The gang used to charge £ 30 £ 50 per person per person to send it abroad with false passports and visas, officials said. The case is registered under sections 318 (4) (fraud), 319 (2) (fraud by personality), 336 (2) (forgery), 337 (forgery of public records, court record, or identity document), 340 (2) (using a counterfeit document or electronic record as a couple) and 61 (2) (Criminal conspiracya) of the Bharatiya Nyyaya Sanhita, 2023) and Article 12 of the Indian Passports Act, 1967. The rocket came to light after a certain Roshan Bhaskar Dudhwadkar, a resident of Andheri -East, was arrested by the immigration division last month after landing at Bangkok. A crime branch team arrested Dudhwadkar for his alleged involvement in the rocket, before arresting other accused such as Arun Dudhwadkar, Ajit Puri, Imtiyazali Mohammad Hanif Shaikh, Sudhir Sawant and Sanjay Chavan. After the SPI Sonawanes were transferred to negligence, the case was given to an officer of the Assistant Police Commissioner on a fair investigation, the police officer cited earlier.
