Himachal has provided central help of Rs 42 crore for three industrial projects!

Skhwinder Singh Sukhu, chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, said on Saturday that the Department of Expenses for government spending on Saturday gave a central assistance of Rs 42 crore under the special capital investment assistance scheme in the year 2022-23 to the states under the Premier Spartan scheme by the Department of Expenses. CM says this help will be very helpful in promoting industrial activities. The chief minister said the government sent four projects worth Rs 84 crore for central assistance, taking into account the logistical connectivity and industrial development in the state. The selection committee of the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade has approved three projects worth Rs 42 crore. The chief minister said that one of the most important projects under this scheme is to set up an IT Park in the Ash of Nagari in Palampur Tehsil of the Kangra district. He said that the connection of the airport and IT-SAC in the climate sector is very suitable for effective industries. The total cost of the project is Rs 35 crore. Sukhu ordered the industry department to increase the size of the park from 250 channels to at least 1000 channels, so that jobs will also be created for local youth. CM said projects will be completed on time.
