Samsung began its promotional campaign for its upcoming foldable smartphones, which released a new tea service for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The South Korean technology firm is expected to officially reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 during the next Galaxy Unpacked event, which took place in New York. In a blog post published on Tuesday, Samsung described its next generation of foldable device as the ‘thinnest, lightest and most advanced’ Galaxy Z model so far. The post, which includes video footage of a book-style folding folder mechanism, points directly to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 rather than the Clamshell counterpart, the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The upcoming foldable is said to deliver an ‘ultra-level’ experience, with Samsung prioritizing. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7: Expected specification reports distributed over the past few weeks suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 can only measure 3.9 mm when folded open and 8.9 mm when folded. This would represent a significant reduction in the thickness compared to the Galaxy Z -fold 6, which measures 5.6 mm when unfolding and 12.2 mm when folded. In comparison, competitive folding things like Oppo’s Find N5 unfolds at 4.21 mm and folded 8.93 mm, while Vivo’s upcoming X Fold 5 was followed to be 4.3 mm in the unfolded condition and 9.33 mm when folded.
