Bangladesh: Awami League attacked Yunus government, unlawfully told the arrest of 80 advocates
Dhaka, April 8 (IANS). Awami League, the party of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, targeted the interimammad government’s interimader, the chief adviser of the Inter -Government. The party recently criticized the court’s decision to jail 80 advocates to jail and refuse to have bail. Awami League said that these advocates always remained the voice of the victims and the extensive people and that they fought against injustice. The government targets them because they could emphasize the fraud of the interim government and the illegal occupation of power. The party claims that the Yunus government has also begun to interfere in the judiciary. The courts are being abused by making their favorite people a judge and by force the judges of the Supreme Court. The statement said: “These advocates surrendered in the lower court after receiving bail from the Supreme Court, but still jailed. It is not only injustice to them, but also a joke of the legal system.” Awami League further said that the Yunus government not only involved their party leaders, but also players, artists, intellectual and cultural activists in false and combined cases. The party also claimed that people were arrested again in other false cases even after they were granted bail, thereby becoming a ‘prison’. Awami League demanded that all political prisoners be released unconditionally and that all false cases should be withdrawn. The party once again said that it would continue its struggle for democracy and people’s rights in the country. Let us know that there have recently been fierce protests against the government in Bangladesh and that many allegations have been made about the Yunus government. -Ians DSC/CBT Share this story Tags
