FAA investigation is underway The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the engine fire. Delta Air Lines also said his maintenance teams will investigate the plane to collect further information. “Maintenance teams will investigate the aircraft in an attempt to determine the cause of the fire,” Delta said.
