Moment Jokowi attends the pope's funeral in Santo Peter, convey the message of Prabowo

Jakarta – 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) shared a moment while attending the funeral of Pope Francis at Santo Petrus Basilica, Vatican. Jokowi was present as a messenger assigned by President Prabowo Subianto. In the video shared on Jokowi’s Instagram, as seen on Sunday (4/27/2025), Jokowi appeared with a black suit and cap when he arrived at Santo Peter’s Basilica. He was accompanied by three other presidential delegates, namely Minister of Human Rights Natalius Pigai, Deputy Minister of Finance Thomas Djiwandono at the chairman of the Welcoming Committee for Pope Francis visits in Indonesia, Ignatius Jonan. “The orders of President Prabowo to attend the funeral that Pope Francis was holy in the Vatican paid a last respect to the great leaders of the Catholic. Hopefully he received eternal peace,” Jokowi wrote on his personal Instagram.
