Shatrughan Sinha of the Trinamole Congress of Asansol in Western Bengal, after receiving the president’s approval on the Waqf Amendment Bill, said that once it was adopted from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, he had no other option. On the Waqf Bill, he said: “The president has stamped this bill. But now the public will decide the matter.” He said: “This case is going to the Supreme Court. We hope we will get justice from there.” Sinha believes that the case is not over yet, but that it is now being raised in a completely warm way in the Supreme Court and hopes for any positive decision from there. He accused Ram Navami of spoiling the opposition of law and order, and said: “Ram Navami is for everyone, and everyone can celebrate it with happiness and reverence. But some people come out in great enthusiasm and try to do wrong things, it is a matter of concern.” He said it could become a sensitive matter, and only the people who are eyewitnesses to this incident. He criticized those who work against brotherhood and said, “We do not appreciate them, but pray to God that they get goodwill, and Ram Navami’s festival must be celebrated with love and brotherhood.” Sinha also said that there is a need to celebrate Ram Navami in an atmosphere of laughter and happiness, so that this festival gives the message of happiness and love for everyone.
