A tragic incident happened in Kurukshetra on Saturday, when a young woman died and a boy went missing after he allegedly jumped under the jurisdiction of the Jhansa police station in the Bhakra channel. According to Kurukshetra police spokesman, the incident was reported that afternoon, after which the rescue operation was started. The spokeswoman said: “The body of the girl was recovered and she was sent to the LNJP district’s civil hospital.” The search operation is currently detecting the missing boy. Police said the exact reason behind the incident is not yet clear. The spokesman said, “No complaints have been received yet.” He indicated that the case was still being investigated.
