Many revolutionaries and villagers joined the British rule. Once the British rule realized that some rebels were hiding in a secret cellar in the Sikri Mata temple, they surrounded the temple. Then what happened became a black chapter of history. The British forcibly took out all the 132 revolutionaries and associated villagers from the basement and hung one by one on the same tree built in the temple site. After this painful incident, this watted spafriksha became a symbol of sacrifice, not only in town, but also in the entire region. Even today, when people come to visit the mother, they go under this tree and tie the Kalava and ask for a vow. It is believed that the wishes sought here are fulfilled, because even today the souls of those 132 sacrifices are established, which sacrificed themselves for the independence of the country. Local elders say that this temple has a very old faith. There was a crematorium in this place earlier. Baby Jagran Giri erected the temple of Mata. It is said that the goddess with the city coat is established in this temple. There is another cellar in this temple.
