Born named Raden Mas Suardi Suryaning Rat in the Duchy of Paku Alam, Yogyakarta, on May 2, 1889, and died on April 26, 1959 in Yogyakarta. Suardi is studying at the European Lagere School (Els) and Keweekschool Yogyakarta, and had time to attend the Stovia school, Batavia.
