How Kittens Show Owner They Are Incapable of Waiting for Dinner Delights – ryan
The owner of two small kittens named Soba and Yabi shared footage of what happens every time she tries to cook salmon, and internet users can’t cope with it.
The Viral Tiktok Video Shared earlier in April under the username @soba_and_yaki shows the two little kittens following their owner around the kitchen while she cooks salmon fillet, and yelling at her, impatiently demanding that she gives them a taste.
“When you cook salmon and your kittens want some” she says in the clip, as she keeps telling them to wait until the fish is cooked. She adds in the caption: “They want the salmon so bad.”
The post, Hagitan, indul Newsweek that the kittens were adopted just three weeks ago, and while they tend to meow over any food that they cook, salmon is the only thing that gets this hilarious reaction out of them.
At the end of the clip, the poster feeds her kittens a small piece of cooked salmon off her chopsticks, and they sure seem to be big fans of it.
If it was up to our kitties, they’d be eating our food all the time, but is it actually safe for them? Because they are built different, some of the foods that we commonly eat without repercussions can be quite dangerous to them.
British animal charity Battersea says that anything containing alcohol, onions and garlic, milk and dairy, or chocolate, among other popular food items, can potentially be fatal to our fur babies and should always be avoided.
But this doesn’t mean that you can’t share your food with them, and you can always ask your veterinarian when you’re unsure about an item.
Foods that cats can eat without problems include, according to Sploot Vets, cooked unseasoned and de-boned meat including chicken, turkey, beef, fish and eggs. They can also eat cooked pureed broccoli, peas, pumpkin, carrots and spinach, although cats are obligate carnivoresso they may not like vegetables.

SquirrelyBlake3 added: “Just wait until they can jump up onto counters. That’ll be fun. I have to lock down my entire kitchen to cook so my cats leave me alone.”
