In response to the discussion on the Bill ‘Immigration and Foreigners, 2025’ in the Rajya Sabha Wednesday, Nityanand Rai Minister of the Nityanand Rai accused the opposition of promoting infiltration, which raised the opposition MPs strong objections and stepped out of the house. The purpose of this bill is to regulate the immigration, entry and residence of foreigners in India. The Minister of State for Home has claimed that the former congressional government and the current Trinamole government of West Bengal illegal migrants help infiltrate the country and include it in the voter list and ration cards. Opposition -LPs objected to his statement. After walking out of the house, Congress leader Pramod Tiwari said that the Minister of State Minus of the House Nityanand Rai violated the traditions of the home and made false allegations without facts. He said: “Such a minister speaks as Minister of State, who has no knowledge of facts, has no knowledge of history and has no knowledge of rules. On this, MPs of the congress and opposition parties stepped out of the house. The Trinamol MP Ritbrata Banerjee said the minister was taking the house in the wrong direction and that his statement was completely confused. He claimed that the minister deliberately deceived the home and that his purpose was to only benefit political. He said: “This is a black lie. What the minister said in the house was completely wrong. He accused him without any fact, and when we asked the facts, he had no answer.” Digvijay Singh, the congress of the congress, said: “We express deep objections about the fact that the Minister of State Minister has the congress raised that the infiltration is increasing there. The minister made this allegation without any evidence. Dev also claimed that the ministers delivered political speeches in the home, which were against the traditions of the home. He said: “It is very sad that the ministers lie in the house and offer no facts.” RJD’s Manoj Jha also expressed his dissatisfaction with the issue, saying that this statement of the minister would destroy the minister’s dignity. He said: “The dignity of a minister is the dignity, but today the Minister of State has wired this dignity for the home. He uses the home to lie, and it is a very dangerous example of how Parliament’s proceedings can be influenced by WhatsApp-based information. Trinamol MP Dola Sen also opposed the allegations of Nityanand Rai, saying that it is the responsibility of the Ministry of Home Affairs to ensure the safety of the country’s borders. He said: “The Minister of Home Affairs and his Ministry are responsible for border safety, but if infiltration is wrong, it is wrong to place it on state governments. The central government must fulfill its responsibility, not the state governments.” After a strong debate on the matter in the Rajya Sabha, MPs of opposition parties stepped out of the house, causing a riot in the home. The opposition claimed that the statement of the state of state was wrong and without proven. They wanted the ministers to prove their allegations, but when they got no clear answer, they stepped out as a protest. The Rajya Sabha passed the ‘Immigration and Foreigners Bill, 2025’ after the discussion. The Lok Sabha has already approved it.
