Malang -The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) announced the closing of the TNBTS tourist area on June 10-13. The closure is related to the implementation of the Yadnya Kasada ritual ceremony in 2025. Head of the Administrative Division of the TNBTS Center Septi Eka Wardhani said that the closure of the TNBTS area began on Tuesday (10/6/2025) at 24.01 WIB. During this period, tourism activities are prohibited, except for people who will take part in the Yadnya Kasada procession on June 10 and 11, 2025. Yadnya Kasada is an important traditional tradition for the Tengger community that is executed as a form of sacrifices to the ancestors and the almighty God. Therefore, the TNBTS Center does the community, tourist service actors and tourists to respect this tradition and meet the closing rules. During the closing period of the National Park area, tourists can watch the ritual march of the Tengger community through an Alternarif location, namely Cemara Lawang in Probolinggo Regency, Dinglik in Pasuruan Regency and Jemplang entered the Malang Regency area.
