A number of favorites in Broadway will be available to celebrate the off-broadway business

Vineyard theater‘s annual gala, this year the Tony winner honors Jesse Tyler Fergusonwill be held at the Edison Ballroom on February 26.
Set to appear Sara bareillesChelsea Clinton, Lea Delara, Crystal Dickinson, Brandon J. Dirden, Michael R. Jackson, Celia Keenan bollger, Tony Kushner, Lupone patti, Luke MacfarlaneDeirdre O’Connell, Zachary QuintoRolanda Watts, and Rosie’s Theater Kids. The gala is co-oriented by Leigh Silverman and Colin Hanlonwith musical direction by Vadim feichtner.
In addition to Ferguson, fiery toast will also be given to Rosemarie Bray, educator at the Union Square Academy of Health Sciences; and Christina Poon, general manager of W Hotel Union Square.
Ferguson has been involved with Vineyard since 2004, when he appeared in their production of Christopher Shinn‘ Where do we live. Later Ferguson interpreted in Broadway in the solo comedy Fully committedwhich made his world premiere in Vineyard in 2016. Ferguson also developed projects in collaboration with the Off-Broadway Theater, and offered the company’s 2005 gala Ann Harada.
“Jesse is an incredible and beloved artist and colleague, with whom we first had the joy of working at the vine almost 20 years ago,” Sarah Stern, artistic director of the vineyard, said in a previous statement. “His tremendous talent, creativity and dedication to his crafts are linked to his kindness, humor and support for his fellow employees. Jesse is an inspiring advocate of our theater communication, Nity and for social justice and LGBTQia+ rights, and was a champion for the vineyard and artists of the vineyards and artists. to celebrate! “
The gala will include cocktails, dinner, auction and live performance. The yields will support the 2023-2024 season of Vineyard and its good neighbor’s accessibility program, which offers free and low-cost tickets to New Yorkers.
