First foreigner that attacks India

Trending is also known as Derius I Dara I, the first foreign king to attack India. Dara was the ruler of the first Acmenid Dynasty. Which expanded his empire to the Indian subcontinent. At the time, Gandhara was one of the most prosperous provinces in India. Darius looted and destroyed the ancient Harappa and Mohenjodaro cities on the banks of the Indus River.
