Madhya Pradesh government will organize the summit on June 10 to promote solar energy
Bhopal, June 7 (IANS). To promote solar energy, the Madhya Pradesh government will organize a ‘Suryamitra Krishi feeding Summit’ in Bhopal on June 10. An official gave this information on Friday. Based on the ‘Wocal for Local’ vision, the summit is held in the Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Center, which aims to provide detailed information on the presentation process, financial structure and technical specialties to developers and stakeholders. The official said: “The state promotes solar energy by constantly launching a plant, which gradually increases its power generation capacity. This summit is a step towards energy care, farmers’ empowerment and leadership for clean energy for Madhya Pradesh.” He said that the Madhya Pradesh government set a target to obtain 500 Gigawatts by 2030 and that efforts were being made to include various stakeholders, including farmers. “To make agriculture profitable and ensure ten hours of power supply for irrigation, the state government has already erected about 8,000 dedicated agricultural feeders,” the official said. Under this scheme, solar projects can be set up at 100 percent capacity of the substation tax. Madhya Pradesh Energy Development Corporation has already released tenders for the choice of developers for these projects. These projects operate with the government under 25 years of power acquisition agreements (PPA). “An important aspect of solar energy is to produce and use it at the consumption point,” he said. He said that the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy implements the PM coast of Yojana to meet the energy needs of farmers, especially by generating solar energy near their fields and generating revenue opportunities. -Ians Sch/Ekd Share this story Tags
