Ex-assistant says Sean 'Diddy' Combs made him buy drugs, set up sex parties while prosecutors a case of an adjustment of the case | Mint
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ former personal assistant testified that his work prepared the purchase of drugs and preparing hotel rooms for sex parties called ‘Wild King Nights’. Brendan Paul, who worked for Combs from late 2022 to March 2024, gave evidence on Friday during Combs’s continued trial of sex trade. Paul’s testimony is an important part of the attempt of the prosecution to prove a conspiracy against the 55-year-old music mogul. They claim that Combs used its businesses to print women in sexual acts with ecstasy with male sex workers. Diddy’s former assistant Brendan Paul testified that Combs pleaded not guilty to all five criminal charges. His attorneys say all sexual activities were consensual. Paul said he bought about $ 4200 marijuana and hundreds of dollars of ketamine worth combs for combs. Jurors showed messages in which Paul Combs’ safety team asked to compensate him for drug purchases. One message of February 14, 2024 read: ‘You get me Zans,’ what Paul said, referring to Xanax. Paul told the court that Combs also used cocaine and ecstasy before him. When the defense lawyer Brian Steel is asked if drugs are a big part of his work, Paul replied that they were a ‘slight part’ and insisted: ‘Absolutely not’ when asked, ‘You were not a drug mule?’ He also described that he was preparing hotel rooms for three or four “Wild King Nights”, and containing them with lubricant, baby oil, drink and a Gucci bag with hard drugs. After the parties, he wore gloves to clean up and avoid hotel fines. Paul was arrested at Miami Opa Locka Airport in March 2024 for possession of cocaine while traveling with combs. He claims to have found the drugs while cleaning the Chamber of Combs and forgetting about it. When asked why he did not say to the police, Paul simply replied, “Loyalty.” The charge was dropped later. The defense is expected to start presenting its case next week.
