The Economic Offenses (Eow) have carried out a major action in Jabalpur under the ongoing campaign against corruption in Madhya Pradesh. This action was done against Jagdish Sarvate, Deputy Commissioner of the Tribal Welfare Division, who is accused of being disproportionate. More than 50 -member teams from Eow on Wednesday overwhelmed Jabalpur, Bhopal and Sagar. According to sources, a ratio of about Rs 5 Crore 90 Lakh was detected during the attacks, which is much more than the income of hunting diamen Sarvata. Eow received a complaint that Sarvat collected enormous assets by abusing his post, after which the investigation was started and that this great action was done on the basis of evidence. The Eow conducted a thorough investigation into the government residence in Jabalpur, their original home and other possible bases at Jabalpur. Meanwhile, the investigative team also reached the properties at Bhopal and Sagar. During the raids, documents, details of bank accounts, investment files and several important electronic devices were seized. Investigative officials say Jagdish Sarvat has a clear difference in the available assets and its government revenue. The investigation so far has revealed that luxury vehicles, expensive apartments, property and many bank accounts have been deposited in its name. He also bought some properties in the name of his family and family members. A senior Eow official said that the truth of documents is now being investigated in this case of disproportionate. If the allegations are proven, further steps will be taken under the Corruption Prevention Act, and the suspension of the accused can also be recommended. The case highlights the seriousness of corruption in the administrative structure of the state. It is striking that the state government has already claimed that they have given corruption -free administration, and now such actions are trying to give a message to the public that the government is taking a difficult stand against the corrupt officers.
