‘Tis the season for pink flowers and even pinker moons!

This month’s full moon, nicknamed the pink moon, rises on April 12 and reaches its peak at 5:22 p.m. PT this year.

This springtime lunation will double as a mini moon, boasting astronomical and astrological significance as it radiates bright in the cosmos. Its effects will be felt in the weeks surrounding its peak.

“We tend to see important endings, revelations and turning points around this time,” celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas tells PEOPLE exclusively of the days leading up to and following this full moon.

April’s full moon will rise in Libra, the seventh sign in the zodiac that rules all partnerships, commitments and unions that are both personal and professional. “It’s a charming, social and kind zodiac sign that is represented by the symbolic image of the scales or balance,” he says.

“This shows their innate desire for fairness, justice and logic,” he continues, adding that “by working with others, we can advance our goals and become greater than just ourselves.”

This lunation is an applying square with Mars, which Thomas predicts “will enflame our passions, emotions and impulsivity.”

The lunation is in a separating trine with Jupiter, which Thomas says “denotes an expansive quality favoring luck, growth and personal and professional fortune.” He adds, “Venus, the planetary ruler of this lunation, will be extremely active at this time.”

Venus links in a sextile with Uranus, which Thomas says “can bring happy surprises if we embrace an open perspective and are willing to step outside of our comfort zones.” It’s also conjunct Neptune, which he says “could create an enchanting aura over us at this time, too.”

Aries (March 20-April 19)

It’s time for a change in your relationships, Aries! “This full moon will bring you the opportunity to grow closer than ever before, or shatter apart like sparks in the wind,” predicts Thomas.

“An exciting declaration of love, decision to move in, get engaged or wed may occur near this time,” he puts forth. “Singles can share in this vibe, too, by looking for someone with long-term potential. If you’re not in alignment, use this time to assess where you stand.”

Taurus (April 19-May 20)

“You may have to pay attention to a significant family or parenting situation. This same energy could instead spotlight a home, domestic or real estate matter,” he puts forth. “Some may relocate, change roommates or decide to switch up their living space and redecorate.”

Leo (July 22-Aug. 22)

Speak your mind, Leo! “The full moon will bring you a flurry of exciting ideas that energize you to broadcast your vision to the world,” predicts Thomas.

“You may now be working on a milestone writing, speaking, social media or branding initiative or finalizing the details of an important contract,” he says. “If you have any significant proposals you need to submit, do so now.”

Virgo (Aug. 22-Sept. 22)

Expect a change around your income, Virgo. “The full moon energizes your prosperity sector, giving you the chance to monetize and assess your budget,” Thomas predicts.

“You’re likely to suddenly see more in regards to a raise, new job offer or side hustle that presents itself,” he continues. “If a stream of income ends near this time, use the power of this lunation to get a move on to find something even better.”

Libra (Sept. 22-Oct. 22)

A cosmic spotlight is shining on you, Libra! “It’s giving you the chance to revel in your newfound power,” says Thomas.

“You’ll feel especially curious about what else life has to offer you, so don’t sit back and wait… charge onward!” he says. “Some of you may decide it’s time to head back to school or polish off an important scholarly project. Others may decide to get involved in spirituality or religion.”
