Domestic Secretary has served the meeting to transfer the Police Modernization Initiative
For the review and approval of the state action plan for the modernization of the police for the financial year 2025-26, the Rights Committee on the State Level (SLC) met here today, chaired by additional general secretary (home) Sumita Mishra. Mishra emphasizes the importance of the deployment of state -of -the -art technology that can quickly have results. The meeting was notified that the digital system has been adopted so far instead of analogous communication equipment in 13 districts of Haryana and soon all districts will be brought under it. Mishra also instructed officials to finalize the methods under the first phase of the RS 150 Crore scheme for the modernization of the police force declared in the budget of this year.
