DLH Jakarta Transport 79 tons of garbage after the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia

Jakarta-the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia held in the Monas area, Hi rot, Jakarta, until it left a pile of garbage next to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Thamrin. DKI Jakarta Environment Agency (DLH) recorded a total amount of waste reaching 360 cubic meters or equivalent to 79.29 tons. Head of DKI Jakarta Dlh Asep Coastalwanto said the boom in the amount of waste occurred due to the crowd of community activities from morning to night, both during ceremonies and public parties. “The total amount of waste transported reached 79.29 tonnes. The handling was completed at 3:00 in the morning,” asep on Monday (8/18/2025) said in his statement. Meanwhile, the infrastructure used included 12 inorganic trucks, 10 mini trucks, 12 compactor trucks, 14 road livestock, 40 dust bowl and 10 toilet cars. According to Asep, the area with the most garbage around Monas and the hi rot rounds, especially after the concert and party of the people at night. “The crowd of residents eating, picnics and watching entertainment programs contributes to a fairly big pile of garbage,” he said. Although the amount of waste is quite high, Asep ensures that the entire area is clean again before the morning.
