Disaster Management Program in Collectorate, NDRF has given important training
A special training program was organized by the disaster management branch in the Collectorate Auditorium on Tuesday. In this program, the Navami Vahini National Disaster Response (NDRF) team provided important training related to family exercises. The purpose of the program was to train government officials, employees and local disaster management teams to work quickly and effectively under emergency situations. The team Navami Vahini NDRF transferred practical training to the participants of rescue, relief and management techniques under various disaster conditions. The NDRF team shared information on quick decision -making, the use of rescue equipment, first aid and standard operational procedures of disaster management (SOPs) under the family exercise. During the training, the participants practiced various disaster management techniques, while mimicking the actual circumstances. Officers from the Disaster Management Branch said the purpose of this training program is to prepare local administration and government employees for real disaster conditions. He said this training would be useful to save people’s lives and reduce damage during any disaster in the future. The NDRF team coaches told the participants that rapid response and rescue operations are extremely important in natural disasters such as floods, storms, earthquakes and industrial disasters. He said that the techniques offered during training will help make safe and effective emergency decisions. Government officials, disaster management representatives and local employees showed active participation in the program. He has practiced rescue operations in real situations by adopting various equipment and disaster management techniques during training. The disaster management branch has tried to ensure that the administrative machinery and the ability to respond immediately to the local employees during any disaster developed. Officials said such training not only raises the effectiveness of employees, but also brings awareness of disaster prevention and safety to citizens. This training program organized in the Collectorate Auditorium was therefore a successful mix of NDRF expertise and active participation of the disaster management branch.
