Iron Laddus prepares women of self -help groups to protect in tehri from anemia

Tehri, April 12 (IANS). Iron -rich Laddus is built for adolescent girls suffering from anemia in the Tehri district Uttarakhand. The initiative is jointly operated by women of the Department of Child Development and Help Help Help Group. This Laddus will not only help improve the health of adolescent girls, but also become a medium of self -activity and self -sufficiency for rural women. A group of women work hard in the village of Dikholgaon Maniyar of the district of the district day and night. The weight of each Laddus is 50 grams and its price is about Rs 12 to make this Laddus rich in nutrition, nine nutritious foods such as Poha, grams, soybeans, coconut, raisins, sesame, ghee and jaggry are included. The consumption of this iron -rich Laddus will act as a medicine for adolescent girls, which can fulfill iron in the body and give relief from the problem of anemia. Women of self -confidence self -help groups are doing this initiative with full hard work. Currently, 18,700 Laddus was ordered by the Department of Child Development. The president of the Savita Rawat group said that she has prepared more than 15 thousand Laddus until now and made available to the Department of Child Development and the remaining Laddus will also be prepared soon, including packaging. He said that in light of the appreciation and quality of his work by the department, this year was an opportunity to provide Laddu throughout the district. For this, he thanked Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the Department of Child Development. This scheme becomes a strong source of economic confidence for women. Among the self -work schemes run by the state government, women find jobs in their own town. Women associated with this initiative are not only financially empowered, but also set an example in their social field.
