The woman’s husband and two brothers were arrested in this case, who carried out the heinous murder due to family dispute. Police reached the accused through UPI payment and a social receipt in the murder case. Description of the incident: The body of a woman was found on the banks of the Kathjodi River in the Kandarpur area of Cuttack on the morning of December 13. After finding the body, the Kandarpur police station and ACP reached the place and began the investigation with the help of forensic team and dog group. Police also recovered the captain used in the murder. Initial investigation revealed that “baby Ballia Mata” and “Father KPSM” on both hands of the woman. As there was tattoo, but it could not be identified. Important clues found in the investigation: Police searched the CCTV cameras installed in the area and received a missing report from the nearby police station. The investigation found that a blood linen shirt and pants near the place, with a partner reception called ‘New Star Tailors’. Police acted this clue and approached the names of this name in Odisha, but no concrete information was found. Then a person on WhatsApp reported that it could be done in Bhanjanagar in the Ganjam district. Information received from the receipt of the partner: Police immediately notified the Bhanjanagar police station in the Ganjam district and asked the SDPO to locate the store. During the investigation, the IIC of the Jagannathprasad police station in the Ganjam district discovered the store, but the receipt was not linked there either. However, the partner reported that such a reception design is used in Gujarat. This information gave the police further direction, as the tailor said he worked in Gujarat and was familiar with the reception design there. Identification of mobile number: After the number “3833” was recorded on the receipt, police found a customer named “Babu”. After contacting this number, police identified the right identity of “Babu” as Jagannath Duhari, 27, a resident of the Kendrapara district. When police investigated him, he was found to travel to Surat in a train. After notifying police in Raigadha, police arrested him near Muniguda station. The reason for the murder and arrest: During interrogation, it was revealed that the woman was Jagannath’s sister -in -law. He killed with his brother Balaram Duhri and Hapi Duhri. The reason for the murder was a family dispute. Balaram suspected his wife’s character, which is why he took this horrible step. Balaram was also arrested with the help of Kendrapara police. Police action: Police have arrested the three accused in this case, and further investigation is on. Police have exposed this heinous crime on the basis of important clues such as UPI payment and the receipt of the partner.
