This young man came to live in a house as a tenant and after winning the trust, cheated on his own Landlady. Surprisingly, the accused engineering is studying in computer science and performs the cybercrime in a very evil way. According to the conspiracy information, the accused youth went to live in a home a few months ago after winning the confidence of the Landlady. Due to the trained, civilized and calm nature, the Landlady soon trusted him. Gradually, the accused increased his proximity to the Landlady and began access to his cellphone and laptop to provide technical assistance. Meanwhile, she obtained the woman’s personal information and banking details. Thousands of rupees from the account, when the Landlady got information about deducting money from his account, he immediately approached the bank and cyber cell. Investigation revealed that the withdrawal of money was made from the same IP address where the woman’s tenant lived. Police investigated and detained the accused, where he acknowledged that he had already cheated on such a cyber. He said he stole people’s information with the help of methods such as social engineering and fishing. Police also surprised that the student came out according to the Hacker police police officers, many people had personal information, bank passwords and mobile OTP records of the accused. False links and fishing pages from different banking sites have also been recovered from his laptop. Police are investigating whether he works alone or part of a large cyber gang.
