CRPF officer dies due to lightning in Jharkhand, another injured by the local desk on May 17, 2025, 09:30 IST in Jharkhand Thursday, a CRPF officer died due to lightning during a campaign, while another was seriously injured. Officials said the incident happened at about 10:30 a.m. in the Kearburu town in the Western Singhbhum district. Officials said the second officer of the 26th Battalion M Prabo Singh died due to lightning, while the Assistant Commandant Sk Mandal was injured and that he was admitted to hospital.
