CM Yogi will inspect ganga Expressway Sunday, preparations will be done
Lucknow, April 26 (IANS). Yogi Adityanath, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, will inspect the construction work of Ganga Expressway on Sunday. It is one of the largest and ambitious infrastructure projects in the history of Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, this inspection was proposed on April 28, but now it is scheduled on Sunday. The main minister will take the land situation of Express Construction in three districts (Hardoi, Shahjahanpur and Hapur). The Yogi government is fully committed to making Uttar Pradesh a leading state of the country in the field of infrastructure, investment and employment. CM Yogi has a special focus on the Ganga Expressway project and its effort is to complete the project as soon as possible so that the people of the state can gain the benefit on a large scale. Chief Minister Yogi visits the Ganga Expressway on Sunday. In the first place, he goes to 62+200 chain at Meerut-Badaun (Group-1) in the Alamnagar Bangar village Garhmukteshwar Tehsil of the Hapur district. He then visited 242+650 Chanej, located in Badaun-Hardoi Group-2, located in the Piru village of Jalalabad Tehsil of the Shahjahanpur district and will gain the soil situation. From here, the main minister will look at the construction work that takes place at Hasoi-Unao (Group-3) 347+000 Chanej under Bilgram Tehsil of the Hardoi district. According to the instructions of general secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, information regarding the progress of Ganga Expressway will be provided to the main minister in the prescribed fields in the three districts. This work will be completed in conjunction with the district administration concerned. The Ganga Expressway under construction by Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPDA) is about 600 km long from MeerUT with Prayagraj, which connects the western and eastern parts of the state. This highway will not only strengthen the state’s industrial and economic development, but will also link small cities and rural areas to the mainstream of the state. Through this highway, new opportunities for agriculture, trade, tourism and investment are created. Bhoomi Pujan of the highway was performed by Premier Narendra Modi on December 18, 2021 in Shahjahanpur. This highway is expected to be completed soon. The project is considered an important contribution under the Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana, which results in India making an economy of $ 5 billion.
