Choosing new high school/vocational school students in Banten offers a free choice in private school

The choice of private schools refers to schools that worked with the Banten provincial government,” Andra said during the Banten Provincial Government State Building, Serang City, Monday (5/19/2025). “There is an option, if they are not accepted at public schools, they go directly to the adjacent private school,” he continued. He said the dropout rate in Banten was still quite high. “Our dropout rate is quite high because the government was only able to free public schools at the time. It caused a community mindset to be the only choice, so that everyone competes to enter public schools, and eventually there were those who were not housed,” he said. Andra wants this free private school program to really affect the community. He hopes that inequality between the North and Southern Banten regions can be overcome by the program. “And one of the solutions we lie ahead is free schools. Hopefully this program has a positive impact, especially for people of the lower economic group.
