CGL exam in Jharkhand is now held in two phases. Hamant -Cabinet approves new rules
Ranchi, June 20 (IANS). The combined degree level, ie, CGL examination conducted by the Jharkhand staff choice commission is now held in two phases (preliminary and main investigations). However, if the number of applicants is less than 50 thousand, the examination will be written in one phase according to the earlier arrangement. The amendment manual related to this was approved at the Cabinet meeting held on Friday chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Cabinet secretary of Dana Dadle said that a total of 26 proposals were approved during the meeting. Many important schemes associated with road and education have been approved by the Cabinet. Administrative approval of Rs 141 Crore for Four Lane Road to Argowda Chowk-Road Road in Ranchi City and Rs 301 Crore for the erection of Cycle Track and Service Road from Vivekananda School Mor to Ring Road. 57 Crore 95 Lakh 45 thousand rupees were approved for the women’s college in Khunti and Rs 38 Crore 76 Lakh for Grade College in Ichagarh in Seraikela-Kharsawan district. The Cabinet also approved the proposals for the creation of 28-28 posts for diploma-level pharmacy institutions in Dumka and Palamu. According to another decision, the Jharkhand -State Hindu Religious Trust Council will get Rs 3 crore per year as auxiliary. On the instructions of the National Aids Control Organization, the proposal for the formation of ‘Jharkhand State Legishal Forum of HIV-Aigs’ has been approved. The chairman of this forum will be the departmental minister, while five MAAs nominated by the speaker will be members. Development Commissioner, Departmental Secretary, Secretary and Project Director will also be members of the forum. Programs will be arranged by the forum to eliminate awareness and discrimination against AIDS victims for the prevention of HIV AIDS. The Cabinet also approved the proposal to buy 500 Rupees Mobile Recharge allowance and 25,000 cell phones for the officers of the Secretariat’s staff officer each month. The state government has decided to give a police medal for commendable services to the soldier’s staff to the Gram Panchayat level. Earlier, this medal was only given to police officers. The number of special service medals was increased from 10 to 21 and the number of police medals from 31 to 60, together with this, the power failure at the cabinet meeting.
