Central government promotes road infrastructure on the Indo-China border
Parliamentary matters and minority minister of minority, Kiren Rijiju, said today that the central government is restoring highways and local roads in the areas bordering the Indian border of India and China on priority base. He said that with the repair of roads in the Kailash Mansarovar district of Yatra district could begin in the future. On the second day of Himachal’s four -day visit, Rijiju Kinnaur reached and laid the foundation stone of the indoor stadium in Puh, Kinnaur. During this time, Lok Sabha parliamentary member of Mandi Kangana Ranaut was also present with him. The minister said the central government provides all possible assistance, not only to Mandi, Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti and Kullu, but for the development of infrastructure throughout the state. He said that the center has helped a lot to develop infrastructure in the Mandi parliamentary constituency, but it is the responsibility of the state government to ensure the right use of these funds. Rijiju said that the central government has launched the vibrant village scheme for the development of the border areas. Under this scheme, the central government gives adequate funds to Himachal Pradesh. However, for this, the state government will have to prepare and send its proposal.
