The meeting of the Cabinet Committee (CCS) of Security Affairs at his home on Wednesday chaired by Premier Narendra Modi was terminated. According to sources, there will be a press briefing, which will probably announce important decisions made at the CCS meeting. This important meeting was asked to discuss the security situation and future action after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. The meeting of the Apex Committee, which decided on national security, was summoned for the second time at the prime minister’s home. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah, Foreign Minister Sky Jaishankar and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is included. After this meeting, meetings of the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA) and the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) were held. The government will meet the media at 3pm. This meeting of the Union Cabinet is the first meeting after the terror attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 people died. Last week there was no meeting of the Cabinet, and only on April 23, the Cabinet Committee of Security Affairs (CCS) met, in which the terror attack was condemned. In the first CCS meeting chaired by Premier Modi, India took several steps against Pakistan. This includes suspension of the Indus water agreement, the closure of the attic border, canceling the visas of Pakistani citizens, and banned many of their YouTube channels and X -handles. In addition, Pakistani citizens were also instructed to return to their country. The CCS Pahalgam may also consider the military options available to avenge the terror attack. The security situation was revised at the CCS meeting on April 23 and all Indian forces were instructed to maintain the highest vigilance. India has decided that the culprits of the Pahalgam attack will be brought to the dock. Share this story -tags
