Telangana: 22 Maoists surrendered before police

Hyderabad, April 11 (IANS). 22 Maoists gave to the banned Indian Communist Party of India (Maoist) on Friday, and 22 Maoists surrendered to police in Mulugu district on Friday. The Milugu district of the police at the Mulugu district’s headquarters, Dr. P. Shabraish, the militants gave their weapons. These convictions include four members of the area committee members (ACMs) and a party member. The remaining militia were members. The SP announced that 4-4 lakh calls will be given to connect the ACM to the mainstream of the Society. The party member gets 1 lakh rupees, while others get 25-25 a thousand rupees. The SP has called on the prominent Maoist leaders to surrender and join the national mainstream. He said that the ideology of leftist extremism lost relevance. He said he couldn’t achieve anything creative by walking around the forests. The SP warned on Thursday that there would be strict action against the Maoists who tried to banned their movement in the forests near Karri Gutta by claiming to threaten their tribal communities. Shabriish said that tribes have long depended on the forest on their livelihood. Cattle that collect grazing and forest products are natural activities for them. They will have to wander in the bush and go to the forest to graze cattle and go to the bush for other works. He said people should not be afraid of such threats. He said that Mulugu police were taking extensive security measures for their safety and that he would respond strongly to it. The surrender of 22 Maoists in Mulugu took place less than a week after the surrender of 86 Maoists in front of police in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district. Among those who surrendered were 82 Bhadradri-Kothagudem district and four of the Mulugu district. According to police, they were all active in the Bijapur forests of the neighboring Chhattisgarh district. In March, 64 Maoists surrendered in front of Bhadradri-Kothagudem police.
