Why 'Operation Sindoor' was stopped in the middle, Abu Azmi asked the center
Mumbai, May 30 (IANS). The Samajwadi party’s Maharashtra head Abu Azmi on Friday questioned India’s military operation ‘Operation Sindoor’ following the Pahalgam attack Friday. He criticized the central government and described it as an incomplete operation. Abu Azmi’s remarks came amid the inner debate within Congress, especially after the Modi government’s actions were praised on the revocation of ‘Operation Sindoor’ and Article 370 by leaders such as Shashi Tharoor and former Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid. The two congressional leaders are part of the recent delegations of all parties who have gone abroad and have been critical since then. Critics call him a ‘Super spokesman for BJP’. Abu Azmi questioned why ‘Operation Sindoor’ was not completed? Why did the government stop it in the middle? Many women of women have disappeared in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. We were fully prepared for the war, then what happened that the ceasefire was declared within a day? No real retaliation was taken against Pakistan. The government must act strictly. Azmi also responded to the comments of Salman Khurshid during a conversation with the Indonesian thinking tanks and academics, where Khurshid said there was a big problem in Kashmir for a long time. Many of these are reflected in an article called Article 370 of the Constitution and in the thinking of the government, which somehow made an idea that it is different from the rest of the country. But Article 370 was canceled and was finally abolished. Azmi said that the constitutional process regarding Article 370 should be followed. He said that there was no meeting at the time, so it was passed in this way. The process was defective. Azmi raised the question and said who says people in Jammu and Kashmir are running free? We were told that terrorism would end after the removal of Article 370 and demonetization. But when we turn on the TV, there are reports of collisions between terrorists and armed forces. I see no benefit from the removal of Article 370. He commented on the growing differences in Congress after Tharoor’s praise by Tharoor in Panama, saying that everyone today became a priest of power. On the question of clarity on the results of ‘Operation Sindoor’ by the Chief Minister of Telangana, Revanth Reddy, Azmi said the government should tell about the Rafal dispute and also tell what was achieved. We can answer Pakistan even stronger. -Ians PSK/Ekd Share this Story Tags
