CM Bhajanlal said, 'Rajasthan will be the capital of solar energy'

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that Rajasthan has tremendous possibilities of solar energy and that the state government works with dedication in the field of renewable energy. CM Sharma on Thursday addressed the inauguration ceremony of Renew Power’s 1.3 GW Peak Solar Power Plant in Pokhran, Jaisalmer. He said that this plant in state and energy care would promote and consumers would get electricity at affordable rates. 1500 jobs will also be created from the plant. Sharma said solar energy is the cleanest and renewable energy, which can become productive by adopting. The chief minister said Rajasthan is a pioneer in the production of solar and renewable energy in the country. The state received the central government and the second prize in renewable energy the first prize in solar energy. The government is developing a 41,883 MW capacity for renewable energy projects with an investment of Rs 2.5 lakh crore. The new Rajasthan -integrated clean energy policy has also been implemented. Solar power plants are set up on 1,000 MW roofs to connect all government offices to solar energy. Bhajanlal Sharma said that Rajasthan’s geographical location, industrial infrastructure and competent human resources fit the state for investors. The state is likely to produce 142 GW sun energy. Green corridors are developed in the west of Rajasthan, which will produce 6.311 MW of green energy. The state government offers large plots at reasonable rates and skills development is also emphasized. Referring to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the chief minister said that by 2030 a target of 500 GW was renewable energy. Rajasthan will play an important role in this. Sharma said this plant is an excellent example of Make in India, with 100 percent Indian modules and 90 percent local components. New and renewable energy minister Prahlad Joshi said that according to the prime minister’s intentions, the production of renewable energy in the country is rapidly increasing. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, Minister of Energy for Energy Hiralal Nagar, Mla Mahant Pratapuri, Chhotu Singh Bhati, Sumant Sinha, CEO of Renue, and many public representatives and officers were present.
