Congress shocks in Rajasthan, former MLA Joginder Singh Awana joins the National Lok Dal
Jaipur, April 12 (IANS). The congress party had a major setback in Rajasthan. Senior congressman and former MLA Joginder Singh Awana joined the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD). Awana joined Rld in Delhi in the presence of the Minister of Union and the National President of the RD, Jayant Chaudhary, and with this a new chapter was added to her political journey. Awana, known for her strong ground relations and influence in the Bharatpur region, first came into the spotlight in the Rajasthan election in 2018. Awana disputes from the Nadbai selection section on the Bahujan Sama Party (BSP) ticket. He conquered BJP’s Krishnendra Kaur (Dipa) by defeating more than 4,000 votes. He received 50,976 votes in that election. Awana joined the congress after her victory. His departure in the Rashtriya Lok Dal is seen as a strategic step ahead of the upcoming political alliance in Rajasthan, especially in light of his impact among Gurjar voters. This makes this change even more important because RLD (RLD) is already present in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Rld has further strengthened its base in the eastern Rajasthan, especially Bharatpur division, due to Awana’s involvement. According to sources, Awana joined Rld at a personal meeting in the home of Jayant Chaudhary, which indicates her close relationship with the party leadership. His connection to the party is likely to promote RLD’s possibilities in the region, and this could further change the political scenario of Rajasthan. Political observers believe that Awana’s move can affect the feelings of voters, especially among the Gurjar community, which plays an important role in many constituencies of the east of Rajasthan. His experience as a MLA and his in -depth understanding of local issues is expected to strengthen the presence of RL in the state before the future election. -Ians fz/ share these story tags
