The fire began to move to the forest border via the channel area near Mathana barrier. When you see the flames, panic spreads among the farmers of the areas along the forest. Once the information was received, two fire vehicles reached the place. The farmers united to save the wheat crop and efforts were started to control the fire using more than ten tractors. Hundreds of farmers showed up, plowed the lands and control the fire. Once the fire in Mala Jungle’s Mathna area reached the border of Churna and Purani Dipnagar, hundreds of farmers met there. Apart from sprayers, the farmers took over the fire by plowing the land. Due to safety reasons, farmers were in their fields until late at night. Farmers claim that the forest fire broke out on Tuesday. Due to negligence at the extinguish of the fire, the fire reached the area along the forest border. The fire was controlled after hard work, but otherwise crops could have suffered great damage. After receiving information from the residents, Dial 112 also reached the place. Officials are assessing the causes and damage caused by the fire. The reason for the fire in the Garland Forest is not clear.
