India's fight against terrorism will continue: CM Manik Saha
Agartala, May 11 (IANS). Tripura chief minister Manik Saha said on Sunday that India’s fight against terrorism will also continue in the future. The chief minister said that all safety and other agencies at the state and national level carefully monitor the situation. Saha, which holds the charge of the Department of Home Affairs, told the media that the appropriate steps would be taken if the situation arises. He said he requested the central and state forces to work coordinated to deal with the current situation arising from the tension of India-Pakistan. The chief minister said during a meeting with senior security officials he requested the state security officers to maintain close coordination between the border affairs and other related developments in light of the tension between India and Pakistan. Saha told the media: “We work led by the central government led by Premier Narendra Modi. Minister of Defense (Rajnath Singh) and Foreign Minister (S. Jaishankar) and other leaders work together to deal with the current situation. The situation in Tripura is completely normal and there is no concern. Border safety forces have increased vigilance and increased their dominance on the international border.
