Government will bear the cost of funerals of patients who have lost their lives in Rims or Ranchi

The 59th Council Council meeting of Rajendra Medical Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Ranchi, the largest hospital in Ranchi, capital of Jharkhand, was held. 16 of the total 37 agenda items were approved by the Governing Council. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Health of Jharkhand, Dr. Irfan Ansari, in which the Secretary of the Department of Health, Ajay Kumar Singh, director of the RIMS, dr. Rajkumar, Kanks Mla Suresh Baita and other officials were present. In the meeting, several important decisions were made to make the operation of Rims Hospital simpler, transparent and public. Dr. Health Minister Irfan Ansari addressed the meeting, saying that the state government is committed to making Rims Hospital an excellent medical institute. He said patients get better health facilities, affirmative steps are taken at every level. The minister has the intention to express private practice effectively, and aimed at working on the possibility of starting a paid OPD in the evening. He urged the RIMS application to appear with each patient and their families with humanism and sensitivity. He further said that there will be no shortage of resources, but only intentions and fairness are needed. The people of the state of Jharkhand do not have to go to private hospitals for good medical facilities because they will now get high quality health facilities, such as private hospitals at the largest hospital Rajendra Ayurvedic Institute Rims at a minor expense. Payment of retirement subsidy: Employees/officials appointed by the state government after retirement were approved after retirement to pay the amount of the salary item. The funeral set will be provided. 5,000/- will be given for the funeral. In addition, it was decided to arrange a free body vehicle to take home the body of the rims. Increase in the number of ventilator beds at RIMS Hospital: The capacity of ventilator beds in trauma center, distress and ICU will be increased. Designation to New Poss: Appointment has been approved on a contract basis of hospital manager, protocol officer and dietitian. OPS Benefits: Decide to provide the benefit of the Old Pension Fund (OPS) to employees/officers approved at regular and competent levels. Strengthening the security system: For better security, 50% home guards and 50% private security personnel are recruited from external sources. Adaptation of Contract Workers: A report will be sent to the state government within 30 days for the adjustment of the third/fourth class contract workers working for more than ten years. Preparation Rules Preparation: Rules will be drawn up for the promotion of GDMO/MA Medical Framework. Pet scanning facility: Decide to install PET scanning machines on PPP mode for advanced cancer patient investigation. Increase in Honorarium of trainee nurses: The Honorarium of trainee nurses working at £ 10,000 per month was allowed to increase £ 25,000 per month during the Covid transition period. Fill the vacant posts of senior resident: It was decided to fill the vacant posts of senior resident through advertising.
