The second score claims that the professor forged an exemption certificate from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) of March 12, 2018, which he allegedly made to one Mr. Osian Jude Tony issued. This Act violates section 465 and is punishable in terms of section 467 of the Criminal Act. The third score involves claiming that Igbinoba gained fraudulent money from unsuspecting students by false representing that the institutions offered accredited programs. The students, believe the claims, paid tuition fees in various accounts linked to the organization, and unaware that the certificates they pursued had no official recognition. One of the charges reads: “That you, Prof. Godwin (M), at one time or another between October 2007 and March 2018, at the Association of Professional Examination Board and Association of Corporation of Chartered Secretares, located in the 144 Ikpoba slope, Benin City, within the jurisdiction of this honorable court, The status certificates, Bachelor of Science Garries, and National Diplomas awarded. PE Chukwu, while DN Okoro of the ICPC right unit, Edo State Office, handled the prosecution. The court was informed that the defendant had been arrested earlier before the Judge Ephonian Ikponmwonba. However, due to the reinstatement of the case to Justice Erhabor, the hearing had to start anew. Igbinoba revived his plea and pleaded not guilty to all charges. The defense lawyer applied for the continuation of the bail conditions previously granted, a request that the court approved. The case was adjourned until May 19, 2025 for a hearing.
