Indian Railway Service Like Airport Now You Can Book Online Coolie Bookig System
Indian Railway: Now the railway journey is also going to get a facility like airport. Western Railway has started a unique initiative, under which now passengers will be able to book coolies (assistants) online or on phone calls before catching the train. This facility has brought special relief for the passengers with elderly, disabled and heavy goods.
Pankaj Kumar Singh, Divisional Railway Manager of Western Railway, said that passengers needed assistants or porter at many stations, but this facility was not available there. Especially there was frequent demand from passengers with senior citizens and wheelchairs. In view of this, Mumbai Division has started a new service.
Booking 30 minutes before
Now passengers can book assistants through online portal, app or phone call. If you book 30 minutes before reaching the train station, then you will get ready to help you with a assistant trolley in the uniform. This facility has been started on the lines of the airport.
He informed that this service is currently running at Valsad station, while Vapi and Vasai Road will start soon. These stations did not have the first porter or assistant, but now this facility will bring great relief for the passengers. DRM said that this is happening for the first time in Indian Railways and this will fulfill the great need of passengers.
Full preparation of vacation season
On the preparations for the upcoming vacation season, DRM said that Surat and Udaipur areas are important for them. Many passengers travel from here. Like Holi and Kumbh Mela, special trains will also be run this time. Station redevelopment work is also going on in Surat. Recently some trains were affected due to traffic blocks, but it has started back from April.
He said that the announcement of summer special trains is getting phase wise. Notifications have been left for April, May and June. As the instructions come from the Western Railway headquarters, the Mumbai division will implement it. In Surat, you do not have to do the same crowd problem, for this, all efforts are being made. Holding areas have been built at the station, where passengers are seated systematically. The DRM expressed confidence that despite the high crowd in Surat-Udaipur area, passengers will be given better facilities.
