BCCI Central Contract: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not been able to release the Mains Central Contract List for the 2025-26 season so far. An important meeting was scheduled to be held in Guwahati on 29 March, but it was postponed. Due to this, the players still have to wait for the Central Contract List. Meanwhile, news has come that young star Shreyas is going to return to this list of Iyer.
7 crore rupees in A+ grade
Veteran Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma can remain in A+ grade for 2025-26. BCCI is trying to keep Virat and Rohit in the A+ grade list. With this, they will get Rs 7 crore despite retiring from T20 format. Rohit and Virat ended the drought of India’s ICC Trophy by winning the T20 World Cup in Barbados last year.

BCCI sources from news agency ANI said, “Rohit and Virat will continue their A+ Grade Central Contract (Rs 7 crore) even after retiring from the T20 format. They are big players and will be given the honor he deserves. Shreas Iyer is fully ready to return to the Central Contract. ‘
Action was taken on Shreyas and Kishan
On the other hand, Shreyas was removed from the BCCI’s central contract list after not playing in domestic cricket despite being allegedly available with Ishaan Kishan.
