Auto News Desk, Bangalore-based EV startup Ola Electric entered the two-wheeled market in August 2021 by launching S1 and S1 Pro Electric Scooters. Ola’s electric scooters received great reaction from the market. Now the company has revealed that it sold about 1.5 lakh electric scooters in 2022. The EV manufacturer also announced its future plans, including e-motracycle and the launch of electric car. Ola Electric is ready for the future. The company plans to launch many products in the coming years. OLA Electric plans for the coming years in 2023 and 2024, OLA will launch a scooter with a mass market, a mass market motorcycle and various premium motorcycles (sports, cruiser, Adv and road bikes). It will soon also export EV to other world markets. The company says its first electric car will be launched in 2024, and the goal is to bring six different products to the market by 2027. The existing product portfolio of OLA contains S1 Air, S1 and S1 Pro Electric Scooters. Scooters in Ola Electric’s portfolio have a 2.5 kWh battery pack in S1 Air, S1 has 3 kWh unit and S1 Pro has 4 kWh unit. The company claims to be able to provide a series of 101, 141 and 181 km/full cost respectively. The price of Ola S1 Air is currently Rs 84.999, while the S1 and S1 Pro were priced at Rs 99.999 and RS 1.40 Lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Share this story
