Banggar DPR RI approves the liability of the 2024 state budget, which is to the plenary
Jakarta -The DPR RI budget agency (Banggar) has approved the bill for the liability for the implementation of the State Budget (APBN) of 2024 (APBN P2 Bill). This agreement was taken in a work meeting (RAKER) with Finance Minister Sri Mulyani. The meeting was held Tuesday (8/19/2025) in the Banggar DPR Ri -room, Senayan, Central Jakarta. Initially, the working committee (Panja) of the APBN P2 Bill explained the results of the discussion responded to by all factions in the Indonesian parliament. “All factions and Alhamdulillah all factions, 8 factions have agreed without records,” said Chairman of the Indonesian parliament said Banggar said at the meeting Abdullah. He said that in 2024 it was not an easy thing to go through. Sri Mulyani highlighted war conflicts in the Middle East to maritime activities in the Red Sea, which affected the economy of many countries. “Earlier it was transferred by almost all factions, in early 2024 was an unpleasant year, we still remember in an uncertain global situation, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine that is still on this day,” Sri Mulyani said. “The tension in the Middle East also even increases and even a maritime activity in the Red Sea, resulting in a significant decrease in the activity in the Suez channel,” he added. The state budget, says Sri Mulyani, has become the most important tool to address these factors. Sri Mulyani also highlighted the 2024 financial statements (LCPP) by the Supreme Audit Agency (Ltd) where his ministry received a fair opinion without exception (WTP). “The APBN P2 bill is not only a form of formal obligations, but substance is important to be a form of government commitment in building management and a better basis for state financial management,” he added. The bill is planned to be brought to the second -level discussion. The APBN P2 bill will be approved as a law on the nearest compensation.
