PM Modi mourned death in Solapur Fire, the announcement of compensation

New -Delhi, May 18 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deeply sadly about the death of eight people in a fire incident in Solapur, Maharashtra. PM Modi also wished the people injured in the accident would recover early. Prime Minister Modi announced an ex -gratia amount of Rs 2 Lakh of the Prime Minister’s national aid fund to the family of each deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured. The Prime Minister’s Office wrote on the social media platform x post, “I am saddened by the death of people in the fire incident in solapur, maharashtra. Eight people, including three women and a child, were killed in a fierce fire in a factory in solap. Fire Broke Out at the Central Textile Mills Located on Akkalkot Road in Solapur Midc, about 400 km from Mumbai, due to a short cycle around 3:45.
